  Youth America's Cup

  The Youth America's Cup takes place during the final stages of the Challenger Selection Series and the start of the America's Cup Match, off the coast of Barcelona. Twelve teams divided into two groups compete in a series of 6 to 9 fleet races, with the top three teams advancing to the final, where a single winner takes all.  Come to Port Vell to witness the next generation of sailing superstars compete to showcase their talent in the city hosting the America Louis Vuitton Cup.

  Puig Women's America's Cup

  The prestigious title of Puig Women's America's Cup Champion will be contested next October in Barcelona between sailors from 12 countries around the world, including Spain. Twelve teams divided into two groups will compete in a series of 6 to 9 fleet races, with the top three advancing to the final, where a single winning team takes it all.

  Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup Match

  At last, the most eagerly awaited competition of the year is here. October 12th marks the start of the America's Cup Match, a competition with more than 170 years of history where there is no second place, only one winner. Last year's Defender, Emirates Team New Zealand, will face off against the winner of the Challenger Selection Series in a 13-race match. Each regatta is a match race between the two teams. The winner of each regatta scores one point, the loser scores none. The first team to reach seven points will become the Defender of the 38th America's Cup. And Barcelona will be the ultimate witness to this milestone.

  Louis Vuitton Cup

  For there to be a single, undisputed winner in the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup Match, the Louis Vuitton Cup must be held first. In 3 rounds of racing, Round Robins, Semi-final and Final, the challengers hoping to snatch the title from the defending champion, Emirates Team New Zealand, must compete against each other. This year, sailboats from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Italy, the United States and France are going head-to-head for a chance to challenge the Kiwi team for the throne.

  August 29 to September 8: Round Robins.
  September 14 to 19: Semi-Final.
  September 26 to October 5: Final.

  BCN Sup World Fest

  Barcelona is preparing to become the international capital of Stand Up Paddle. On 17, 18 and 19 May, the first edition of the BCN Sup World Fest will be held, organised by the Catalan Surfing Federation, with the main objective of raising awareness and promoting the practice of sports such as stand up paddle surfing. This championship will be part of the Eurotour 2024, the largest Stand Up Paddle circuit of its kind. Without any doubt, an exciting weekend with long distance, sprint and foil races.

  Volta Ciclista a Catalunya

  This 2024, another major event for the promotion of women's sport is born: the women's Volta Ciclista a Catalunya. This new women's stage race builds upon the previous ReVolta, which had been held four times. Now, the race has been upgraded to the UCI 2.1 category, allowing the participation of the best teams worldwide along with second-tier and national teams. With a significant mountain component, this competition covers a large part of the Catalan territory.

  Barcelona Ilca Master Championship

  This April, the Royal Yacht Club of Barcelona is hosting the Barcelona ILCA Master Championship 2024 regatta at the Port Fòrum marina of the Barcelona International Sailing Center. Sailors from all over the world compete for three days in different ILCA races (International Laser Class Association). The ILCA dinghy, approved by World Sailing for all international Laser Class regattas, is one of the world's most popular boats.

  Olympic and Sport Museum Joan A Samaranch

  Barcelona has become the first major European city with its own Olympics museum, the Museu Olímpic i de l'Esport. The museum is located on Montjuïc hill, and offers a unique experience of the Olympic movement and sport. The city's passion to sports reached its pinnacle with 1992 Barcelona's Olympics.
