The BACHCELONA Festival is an international venue, with artists from all over the world, coming to Barcelona to share with everyone the music of this genius from Germany. This year's edition, from 30th June to 14th July, will be held at emblematic venues of the city, like Museu de la Música, Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau, La Pedrera, L'Auditori, and much more.

Shawn Mendes, from Canada, leaped to fame when in the first week his song "Treat You Better" went straight to number one in 36 countries. He is now presenting his new album "Wonder" on his "Wonder: The World Tour", which brings him to Europe where he is landing at the Palau Sant Jordi of Barcelona.
Among the range of musical activities in Barcelona, there are three classical music theaters: the modernist Palau de la Música Catalana, the Gran Teatre del Liceu -historic opera theater- and the modern L'Auditori. Barcelona Obertura Classic and Lyric is a collaboration created in 2015 to promote a series of events in these three theaters. It is an alternative that put the rich variety of music played in Barcelona on the international map, and places it on the world musical scene as one the the cities that adores classical music.

These are shows conceived and created so that music interacts with other forms of artistic expression such as dance, theater, poetry or the plastic arts, aimed at encouraging the curiosity, imagination and creativity of young and old alike.
As it does every season, L'Auditori is offering a special program for families with children of all ages, so that young and old alike can enter the wonderful world of live music. A wide range of concerts, created for children and designed to make their first musical experience unique and special.
The Petit Liceu is an initiative of the Gran Teatre del Liceu to bring music to the youngest members of the family. A program that features all-time classics, adapted for the whole family to enjoy.
New edition of the Emergents Barcelona Festival in the Auditori. A festival that showcases the expertise of national and international artists within the world of chamber music and symphonic and jazz music. Over four days, we will have the opportunity to listen to new talent and young groups such as the Membra Jesu Nostri, Mireia Tarragó y Carmen Santamaría, Liceu Jazz Grup, Eudald Buch and Trio Isimsiz, and much more.
Throughout the summer, most evenings see special cultural and gastronomic activities held at venues around the city. Many modernista spaces, such as La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, host concerts, suppers, drinks and audiovisual shows. In turn, several cultural venues, including Poble Espanyol, CaixaForum and El Born Centre de Cultura i Memoria, open late at least one night a week, allowing you to enjoy their exhibitions and special activities away from the daytime crowds and heat.
Film fans can head to open-air screenings like Sala Montjuïc, which shows movies at the castle on top of Montjuïc, Gandules, an event at the CCCB where the audience sits in deckchairs (gandules in Catalan), and Cosmonits, a whole programme of sci-fi films at CosmoCaixa.

Each year, Loop hosts professionals and the public for a gathering where they can explore the latest technological and other developments in the moving image sector and see the work of new and established creatives who use video as their main tool.
Loop Festival runs for around 10 days and includes screenings, exhibitions, concerts, talks and other live events at numerous venues around the city.
From 26th March to 7th April, Palau de la Música Catalana is hosting the Maria Canals International Music Competition, which has been attracting renowned young pianists to Barcelona for 66 years. The aim is to take advantage of the presence of this young talent in the city to bring piano music to the general public.
As they do every year, the OFF Competition will be distributing pianos throughout different spaces in Barcelona, so that anyone who is able to can play and enjoy them.
