    An iconic place of Barcelona, located in the Andalucian quarter of the Poble Espanyol in Montjuïc. Since it was opened in 1988, it is considered the mecca of Flamenco in Barcelona. It was created in tribute to the legendary "bailaora", Carmen Amaya, who was a close friend of the family who owned it.

    An intimate space, decorated in the style of an Andalucian corral, so you can mingle with artists and enjoy a drink around a table, with some tapas or a traditional supper during the show.

From the dome you will be able to observe distant constellations, stars and a large part of the solar system, with a telescope from 1904. This is one of the largest and oldest telescopes still in use in Europe.

From then on, the concept of an 'Open House' has been implemented around the world: New York, Dublin, Galway, Tel Aviv and, since 2010, Barcelona, have their own week dedicated to local architecture. 'Open House' offers the opportunity to understand and experience architecture in a unique way, through an architectonic experience.

    The program invites everyone to explore and understand the value of a well-constructed and designed space. In the last few years, this event in Barcelona has expanded to include cities and villages from the metropolitan area and the Maresme Coast, and on the roster of buildings to visit we will come across churches, schools, sports centers, apartment blocks, libraries and restaurants.

    The Model festival will be the first major event for when Barcelona becomes the World Capital of Architecture in 2026. Model is a plural and multidisciplinary space for reflection addressing the main challenges of the 21st century from an architectural and urban planning perspective. For two weeks, with Radical Empathy as the central axis, the enviroment of Parc de les Glòries will become a laboratory for architectural experimentation, where people can visit ephemeral installations, attend conferences, see concerts and exhibitions, participate in workshops, see augmented reality spaces and much more. This joint initiative of Barcelona City Council and the Architects' Association of Catalonia will transform the city's urban space into a party for its residents for a few days.
